Sanjogg (sanjogg.com) is a personalised marriage matchmaking service operated by Brand Innovator, a sole proprietorship of Nitika Garodia (GSTIN 07AIPPN9359J2ZC), New Delhi, India ("Sanjogg", "we", "us"). This policy explains what personal information we collect, why we collect it, and how we protect it. We follow the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 and other applicable Indian laws.

1. Information we collect

• Contact details: name, mobile / WhatsApp number, email and city of the person filling the form (usually a parent).
• Candidate profile: candidate's name, gender, date of birth, height, education, profession, marital status, community, diet, languages, and optional birth time / place for kundli matching.
• Family details: family background, occupation and an approximate family income range.
• Partner preferences you choose to share.
• Photographs and bio-data, only if you send them to us on WhatsApp.
• Website usage data: basic, non-identifying information such as pages visited and whether a form or WhatsApp button was clicked, collected through Google Ads cookies to measure our advertising.

2. How we use your information

• To contact you about your enquiry and explain our membership plans.
• To understand your requirements and search for suitable matches on your behalf.
• To introduce families to each other, only with your consent.
• To send you updates about your search by phone, WhatsApp or email.
• To measure how well our advertising works.

We do not sell, rent or trade your personal information to anyone.

3. How we share your information

• Your profile is never published publicly on our website or elsewhere.
• Before an introduction, we may share an anonymised summary (without name, photographs, contact details or address) with verified Sanjogg families.
• Photographs, contact details and full profile are shared only with a family you have approved, and only after your consent.
• We use trusted service providers to run our website and forms: Hostinger (website hosting), Google (Google Forms, Google Sheets and Google Ads measurement) and Formspree (website enquiry forms). They process data only to provide these services to us.
• We may disclose information if required by law or a government authority.

4. How we protect your information

• Our website uses a secure HTTPS connection.
• Profiles are stored in password-protected business accounts with access limited to the Sanjogg team.
• Our team handles every profile personally and is instructed to keep all family information confidential.
• We collect only the information needed to find a suitable match.

5. How long we keep it

We keep your information while your search is active and for up to 12 months after it ends, unless you ask us to delete it earlier or the law requires us to keep it longer (for example, billing records).

6. Your rights

You can ask us at any time to:

• see the information we hold about you;
• correct or update it;
• stop sharing your profile or withdraw your consent;
• delete your information.

We will act on your request within a reasonable time.

7. Cookies

Our website uses Google Ads cookies to understand which ads bring visitors to our site. These cookies do not tell us who you are. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, and manage Google ad personalisation at adssettings.google.com.

8. Candidates' age

Our service is only for adults of legal marriageable age in India. We do not knowingly collect information about anyone below 18 years of age.
